Guus Hiddink Is New Chelsea Coach!

Chelsea has announced Guus Hiddink as the new Chelsea coach.

The Dutchman has been appointed to be in charge on a temporary basis till the end of the season. He is to manage both the Russian team and Chelsea within this period.

The 62 year old has stated that he will have to see the Russian team at least to the 2010 world cup before considering a permanent move.

He is expected to be a spectator at Chelsea's match against Watford in the weekend. His first match as a coach will be against Aston Villa.

I totally support his appointment. He really has been a success every team he coaches.

He has coached the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia, PSV and currently Russia.

Chelsea Boss, Scolari Sacked!

Yes you heard it right Chelsea boss, Luiz Felipe Scolari , has been sacked today after Saturday's woeful performance against Hull city.

Scolari had been under so much pressure after several below average team displays by Chelsea. You would remember that Stamford Bridge used to be a "museum" or would we call it a "sacred place" that hosts the turf where Chelsea was not beaten in the premiership for 86 good matches. Not even Man Utd, Arsenal nor Liverpool could break this spell. Then came Scolari and the fairy tale story was soon over.

We were turned into laughing stock by other club fans (Chelsea's rivals). I, severally, was embarrassed by friends supporting the other 'big four' clubs. I then thought that something had to be done real quick. I used to be in support of Scolari until i watched analytically some of the players he fielded constantly, the substitutions he made and so on....well then i accepted that he did those things wrongly. He could have done better, as then he seemed confused on decisions to take.

Well, well, well, its dramatically over for him. Though so soon, but some change had to be done so fast. I still believe that we could still win the league. Don't you think so?

Chelsea Snaps Up Intermilan's Quaresma

Chelsea has signed former FC Porto's playmaker Ricardo Quaresma. The loan signing was completed yesterday from Intermilan.

The 25 year old Portuguese international is the first to be signed by Chelsea in the transfer window. He will fill in the vacuum left by Joe Cole who is out for the rest of the season.

He’s Chelsea’s sixth Portuguese player alongside Carvalho, Deco, Ferreira, Bosingwa and Hilario.

Scolari is also still desperate to sign Manchester city's forward Robinho before the window closure.
