According to The Daily Mail reports, Premier League giants Chelsea will reignite their interest in Brazilian sensation Thiago Maia, however, they will face competition from Serie A defending champions Juventus.
Maia was part of the Brazil squad that won an Olympic gold medal in Rio earlier in the summer and has been closely linked with a move to Europe.
Chelsea are willing to offer around £15million for the defensive midfielder during the January transfer window and Juventus are believed to ready and hijack the Blues move for his signature.
Brazilian starlet is highly prized by Santos and has a contract until 2019 , it means Chelsea will have to splash money to lure him at Stamford Bridge despite a stiff competition from the European giants.
